Joel Luallen

Worship Pastor

Joel was born and reared in Forrest City, Arkansas where he attended and graduated from Calvary Christian School. He then attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Church Music. Immediately following graduation from Lee, Joel came to Monroe where he has served as Pastor of Worship for the past 19 years.

Joel is responsible for the complete supervision of the music ministry at the church. He directs the Sanctuary Choir, Orchestra, Praise Team, and gives oversight to the children's choir & dance team as well as the adult dance team.

Joel is actively involved in various levels of ministry in our denomination as he serves on the Michigan State Music Committee and on the National Music Pastor's Advisory Council. Joel is an ordained minister in the Church of God.

He and his wife Robin reside in Monroe with their two children Joel II and Jasmine.
