Special Interest &
Small Group Pastor

Reverend Mark Wellhousen serves as the Special Interest and Small Group Pastor at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center. He is responsible for the development, promotion, coordination and implementation of the Small and Special Interest Group ministries that serve as an outreach of the local Church. Pastor Mark joined the Stewart Road staff in this position in November of 2006.

Pastor Mark was born and raised in Monroe and graduated from Monroe High School and Monroe County Community College. After receiving his call into the ministry he attended William Tyndale College and Lee University, majoring in Christian Thought and Theology.

During his Theological Academic pursuits, Mark served the Stewart Road Church as an Elder, Council Member, and Adult Discipleship teacher. Pastor Mark joined the staff as the Singles Pastor here at Stewart Road after receiving his Exhorters License from the Church of God in October of 1999, and became an Ordained Minister in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN in September of 2001. He served the church in that position until moving to South Carolina in January of 2002. While residing in South Carolina, Pastor Mark served as the Associate Pastor of Carnes Crossroads Church of God, and evangelized in the Charleston area.

Pastor Mark and his wife Eva are glad to be back in Monroe and once again serving the Lord at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center and sharing their lives with their four children and their families.
